Are Bow pieces rare?

Original mid-18th century Bow style pieces are not common, especially if they are in good condition. Many pieces were heavily used as tea and tableware, so breakage and wear are common. Unmarked pieces present another challenge, where surviving pieces may be in collections with different factory names. Dated or inscribed pieces are much rarer than regular cups and saucers, but rarity does not always mean that every piece has to be expensive.
