In Belleek’s official mark history, a capital “R” in a circle was added in 1955 on the 5th mark to show the trademark had been registered in the United States. That “R” detail then shifts position on later stamps, such as the 6th mark (1965–1980), which reduced the stamp size and moved the “R” placement. So the “R” is not decoration; it’s simply a legal and export-related clue that helps date mid-to-late 20th century Belleek. If you see the symbol paired with a green stamp and the right emblem layout, it strongly points to the 1955–1980 era bands on the official chart.
