Is Aynsley still made in England?

The Longton era ended in 2014 when the Stoke-on-Trent factory closed. The Aynsley brand has since continued to operate as part of the Belleek Group, but production is no longer linked to the old Longton factory in the way that many collectors understand ‘made in England’. This is why the ‘Made in England’ stamp on the back is a significant collector’s mark, as it often identifies items made before the Longton factory closed. New Aynsley branded items may still be genuine brand products, but the country of origin may vary depending on the item and the period. If provenance is important to you, consider the main stamp as the decisive evidence. Check for clear photo at the bottom, then read the text carefully.
