On the secondary market, rare large-scale Lladró sculptures and limited editions command the highest prices. One of the best-known examples is “A Grand Adventure,” a huge train-themed sculpture made up of multiple carriages filled with characters. A copy of this piece reportedly sold for around €130,000 at auction, placing it among the most expensive Lladró works recorded publicly. Other valuable pieces include very low-edition runs, early retired works from the 1950s and 1960s in perfect condition, and monumental compositions depicting historical or religious subjects. Condition matters greatly: chips, repairs or missing flowers reduce value sharply. Original boxes and certificates help with higher-end sales, especially for numbered editions. Many standard figurines trade at modest prices, so high auction results apply only to a narrow slice of the catalogue. Collectors often consult recent auction databases and specialist guides before assigning a value to rarer Lladró sculptures.
