Where were Royal Tara products made?

Many Royal Tara items were produced in Ireland, particularly during the earlier years of the company. Production often took place in facilities that specialised in ceramics and fine china. As global manufacturing trends changed in the late 20th century, some items began to be made outside Ireland to reduce costs. Even so, the designs remained strongly Irish, with themes drawn from Celtic art, folklore, and traditional blessings. Items marked “Made in Ireland” tend to attract more attention from collectors. These markings are usually found on the base of mugs, plates, or other ceramic pieces. Irish-made versions are often associated with higher quality craftsmanship, especially those produced before the 1990s.
