Production begins with concept sketches and 3D modelling by the design team in Taipei. Sculptors then create prototypes in clay or plaster, refining forms, relief, and balance. Once approved, moulds are prepared, often in multiple parts for complex shapes. Liquid porcelain slip is poured into moulds, allowed to set, and then released. Workers trim seams, refine sculptural details, and attach extra elements such as leaves or butterflies. The pieces dry thoroughly before the first high-temperature firing that creates the porcelain body. Painters then apply underglaze or overglaze colours, sometimes in several stages with separate firings for different pigment groups or metallic accents. Quality control teams inspect each piece for warping, glaze flaws, or broken details. Accepted items receive base marks, packaging, and documentation before shipment to distributors and retailers across many countries.
