How can I find the pattern name on a Royal Albert piece?

Royal Albert Porcelain

Start at the base. Many Royal Albert items print a pattern title near the backstamp, such as “Old Country Roses.” If no title appears, use visual matching. Check the front, rim, and full base mark in good light. Note key traits; main flower type, border colour, banding, lattice, and any distinctive sprigs placed near the handle. Shape matters too, since Royal Albert used several cup forms over time. Compare photos with other pattern catalogues from auction archives that show both the front design and the base mark for the same item form.
