Tyrrell Formula 1 Limited Edition Prints

Most Tyrrell-themed limited prints are released in editions between 100 and 750 copies. Smaller runs, such as 100 or 150, tend to be signed by the artist and sometimes by drivers like Jackie Stewart. Larger runs around 500 copies are more common and balance affordability with collectability. Each print is typically numbered, for example “45/500”, which confirms its place in the series. Some publishers produce artist’s proofs, often 10 to 25 copies, which are separate from the main run and can carry higher value. The print size varies, though A2 and A1 formats are popular for detailed motorsport scenes. Archival pigment printing is widely used, with claimed lifespans of over 75 years under proper conditions. Buyers often look for certificates of authenticity issued by the gallery or publisher. Lower edition numbers do not always mean higher value, though early numbers can appeal to certain collectors.
