Royal Albert is a British china brand who creates with tea sets, cups, saucers, and floral decoration. The business began in 1896 as Thomas C. Wild & Co., then took the Royal Albert name in 1904. Early work was made at the Albert Works in Stoke-on-Trent, a major pottery district. Many collectors connect the label with fine bone china and classic teatime styling, scalloped rims, gold edging, and bouquets on white bodies. Since the early 1900s the brand has issued many named patterns, sold as single pieces or boxed sets for gifting and collecting.
